On the verso, the painting denotes “Blue Period Pablo Picasso” and “Palma de Mallorca,” representing that the painting was done in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and was done for Pablo Picasso - a close friend of Keil’s mentor, Joan Miró. There is also a drawing of an abstract face on the verso.
